Cream Cheese Frosted Brownies

Tomorrow is Food Friday at the Elementary School where my sister teaches. She has ordered a nugget tray and commented that she should also bring a dessert. To know Beth is to love her, she is not a baker at all. So I decided to make a little special something sweet for her to share with her fellow teachers.

This was so easy! All I did was cook a box of brownie mix, the fact that Publix had them BOGOF today was a major plus, and then I topped them with cream cheese frosting. Here is the frosting recipe I used:

Beat 8 oz. cold cream cheese (not rock solid, but it means you can use it straight out of the refrigerator) with 5 Tbsp. softened butter and 2 tsp. vanilla until combined. Gradually add 2 c. powdered sugar that has been sifted after measuring. Continue to add more sifted powdered sugar until you reach a consistency and sweetness that fits your taste.

How easy can it get? Here they are...

----I really have a picture, my husband uploaded it for me and I can't find it now! arg.----

Yummy Yummy Yummy!
(side note, I baked my brownies in muffin tins)
